PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Jadyn Galliher and Ella Stodden each had a double-double in leading the Taconic volleyball team to a five-set win over previously unbeaten Putnam Vocational on Monday.

Galliher finished with a team-high 10 kills and 26 digs in the 25-20, 16-25, 25-19, 19-25, 15-12 win.

Stodden passed out 26 assists and pulled up 12 digs. She also tied with Galliher for the team lead with four aces.

“I'm really proud of how we bounced back from a tough loss to Amherst Friday night,” Taconic coach Lance Fyfe said. “Beating an undefeated team feels great, and ever since the Berkshire county league was broken up, Putnam has been the team that we've needed to beat.

“This puts our record at 11-5, and builds our confidence as we finish up with our regular season matches.”

Natalia Dos Santos pulled up 39 digs, and Janayah Jones delivered eight kills in the win.

Taconic finishes the regular season with Ware at home on Tuesday and at Commerce on Thursday.
