WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Mount Greylock senior Kiera Kristensen had three blocks and a pair of kills on her Senior Night Friday to lead the Mounties to a three-set win over Monument Mountain.

Kristensen also served a pair of aces in the 25-15, 25-6, 25-13 win.

“Our fans are the best, and we also are blessed with great captains every year,” Mount Greylock coach Greg Geyer said. “This year is really special because Kiera is so supportive of all her younger teammates and is our first ever solo captain. No one has ever had to take on this role alone and she makes it seem effortless as she teaches them leadership by example as they grow.”

Anna Garnish served 12 aces, and Olivia Perez had a team-high nine kills in the win. Kaleigh Jaros passed out 18 assists.

Mount Greylock (5-4) goes to Lee on Tuesday.

Monument Mountain (6-4) hosts Veritas Prep Charter on Oct. 3.
