Mount Greylock Volleyball Drops Narrow Decision at Ludlow

LUDLOW, Mass. – The Ludlow volleyball team Friday outbattled Mount Greylock for a hard-fought, four-set win.

 

Olivia Perez had 22 kills to lead the Mounties and passed out four assists in the 26-24, 26-24, 17-25, 25-21 loss.

 

“We were forced to adjust our game constantly throughout the match,” Mount Greylock coach Faith Wehner said. “Our defense showed up strong and did a great job of keeping us in it throughout the night. 

 

“We did a good job adapting, but in the end, we couldn’t quite keep up.”

 

Tyanna Lepicier pulled up 10 digs to anchor the defense and served three aces to go with three kills.

 

Haydn Derby recorded four digs and three aces in the loss.

 

Mount Greylock (4-2) goes to Lenox on Wednesday.
