LENOX, Mass. – Bella Baltazar had a double-double Wednesday to lead the Lenox volleyball to a three-set win over Taconic.

Baltazar passed out 10 assists and pulled up 10 digs in the 25-18, 25-12, 25-22 win.

Evelyn Julieano had eight kills and five digs, and Sara Isby recorded 14 digs to go with seven kills and five aces. Olivia Ackerman matched Baltazar with 10 assists.

The Millionaires took control of the first set with a five-point service run at 17-17 and never looked back.

Taconic coach Lance Fyfe said his team fell apart in the second set after the first set collapse but was able to rally.

“Before the third set we regrouped, and my message to the team was that we were going to forget about who we were playing, because a lot of times not believing deep down that you can beat another team is your biggest obstacle,” Fyfe said. “We were there to play hard, and we needed to clear our heads and put out an effort that we could all feel good about. They went out there in the 3rd set and played as well as I've seen them play all season.”

Isla DiMassimo pulled up 16 digs, and Gracie Cormier had eight kills to lead the Thunder.

Taconic (8-4) hosts Agawam on Friday.

Lenox (9-1) hosts Monument Mountain on Thursday.
