NEW LEBANON, N.Y. – Allison Slater won a pair of events on Tuesday to lead the New Lebanon swim team to victory against Taconic Hills.

Technically, the New Lebanon/Berlin squad split, getting a 66-0 win in the boys meet and falling, 70-0, in the girls meet as each school only competes in one of the two genders.

But if the meet was scored as a co-ed competition, the Tigers came out on top, 54-31.

Slater supplied eight of those points on her own, taking the 500-yard freestyle in 6 minutes, 5.86 seconds, and the 100 breaststroke in 1:22.23.

New Lebanon also got individual wins from Lance Schroder in the 200 free (2:17.83) and Alex Sotek in the 100 butterfly (1:03.26).

Taconic Hills’ Leo Plaza won the 100 backstroke in 1:13.26.
