Lee Girls Sweep; Mount Greylock Boys Earn First Point of Season

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Anna Wang and Surianna Lee earned 6-0, 6-0 victories to highlight a 5-0 win for the Lee girls tennis team on Wednesday at Mount Greylock.
 
Wang earned her point at No. 1 singles, and Lee won at No. 3. In between, Ava Martin won her second singles match, 6-1, 6-3.
 
In doubles, the Wildcats got wins from the pairings of Rachel Wendly/Paige Barry and Caroline Maloney/Cindi Ni.
 
Lee beat Mount Greylock, 4-1, in a boys match that featured three contested matches but also the first point for the Mounties this season.
 
Nate Verter earned his first career win by defeating Lee's Gabe Kelley, 6-4, 6-0, at first singles.
 
At No. 2, Anthony Lockenwitz earned a point for Lee with a 6-3, 6-0 win.
 
Josh Perrier and Josh Hartman won, 6-1, 6-2, at first doubles.
