Lee Boys Tennis Blanks Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Lee boys tennis team earned a 4-0 win over Pittsfield on a Wednesday in a match ended early by rain.
 
Cooper Maloney and Josh Perrier earned singles wins, and Mason Mihlek and Jim Purcell teamed up to earn a doubles point.
 
Maloney defeated Hunter Golin, 6-1, 6-2, at second singles. Perrier topped Noah Krantz, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 3.
 
At No. 1 singles, Lee’s Chris Petrescu was leading Andrew King, 8-6, 4-1, when play was suspended.
 
Lee won the second doubles point by default. At first doubles, Mihlek and Purcell defeated Gary Zheng and Emmett Krantz, 6-1, 6-0.
