Lee Boys, Mount Greylock Girls Earn Wins

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Matthew Petrescu earned a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles to lead the Lee boys tennis team to a 5-0 win at Mount Greylock on Monday.
 
The Mounties’ girls defeated the Wildcats, 4-1, in matches played on the Williams College tennis courts.
 
Mai O’Connor led the way for Mount Greylock’s girls with a 6-1, 6-0 win at first singles.
 
Lee’s point came at first doubles, where the tandem of Sophie Herman and Shae Kelly came back after losing the first set to take a three-set win.
 
Lee hosts Lenox on Wednesday.
 
Mount Greylock hosts Pittsfield on Wednesday.
