Lenox Girls Tennis Team Earns Fourth Win this Week

LEE, Mass. – The Lenox girls tennis team came out on the winning end of three tough singles matches on Friday en route to a 4-1 win over Lee.
 
The Wildcats took at least three games in all six singles sets, and at No. 2, Lenox’s Rihana Patel went to a first-set tiebreaker before prevailing in two sets.
 
The doubles matches were even closer, each going to three sets, and, appropriately, the teams split the doubles points.

No. 2 Rihana Patel, Lnx, def. Amy Desiata, 7-6, 6-4.
No. 3 Georgia Raser, Lnx, def. Annie Hermon, 6-3, 6-4.
Doubles
No. 1 Nicole Illingsworth/Katie Shove, Lnx, def. Sophie Hermon/Shae Kelly, 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (7-5).
No. 2  Maddie Haywood/Emily Holian, Lee, def. Gali Gomez/Julia Zanin, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5.
