Fraser Fires 2-Under Round to Lead Lee Golfers in Opener

STAMFORD, Vt. -- Lee’s Thomas Fraser birdied three holes en route to a 2-under-par 34 to lead the Lee High golf team to a 160-205 win over Drury in Tuesday’s season opener at Stamford Valley Golf Club.
 
Fraser birdied the 335-yard par-4 second and 430-yard par-5 fourth before finishing with a birdie on the 250-yard, par-4 ninth.
 
Hunter Roosa had a solid afternoon with a pair of birdies and an even par 36, and Colin Finnegan and Dylan Ely scored for the Wildcats (1-0).
 
Drury was led by Connor Kelly with a 46. Justyn Cowell carded a 50 for the Blue Devils (0-1).
 
Lee hosts Mount Everett on Thursday while Drury goes to Monument Mountain.
