GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- This Friday's Berkshire County High School Bowling League action at Greylock Bowl and Golf promises to be a great day of competition.

The league's four unbeaten teams each will be in action against another unbeaten in the fifth week of action this winter.

The standings after last Friday's action at Cove Lanes look very familiar with McCann Tech, Wahconah, Pittsfield and Lee each picking up 3-0 victories.

That quartet each has won all 12 points available to it in the first four weeks of the season, but that will change when the league makes its first North County stop at the North Adams venue.

McCann Tech, which on Friday at Cove defeated Taconic, is the league leader based on the first tiebreaker of average pins per game with 956. The Hornets this Friday will face Pittsfield (3-0), which averages 886 pins per game, third-best in the league.

Wahconah is second in the league with 910 pins per game; it will be tested by Lee, which has averaged 800 pins per gameon the way to its 12-0 record.

On Friday, Pittsfield's A.J. Moore was the day's top bowler, posting a high game of 243 and a high series of 452 in his team's win over Mount Greylock.

His teammate, Colby Rooney, was right behind him with a 241 game and a 433 series.

McCann Tech's Kalley Vanuni was the top girl at Cove and a model of consistency, twice rolling what turned out to be the game's best single game score, 222.

Her teammate Brandon Vallone rolled the day's third-best series, posting a 407.

And McCann Tech's Aleasia Yeaton was Friday's second-best bowler among the girlswith a 198 game and 366 series.
