Franklin Tech Golfers Edge McCann Tech by One Stroke

TURNERS FALLS, Mass. – Jack Day Tuesday carded a 36 to lead the Franklin Tech golf team to a 162-163 win over McCann Tech.

 

Gabe Thomas earned medalist honors with a 35 for the Hornets, who lost their first match since 2023.

 

Three other McCann Tech players – Nick Varellas, Nolan Booth and Landon LeClair – finished at 45 or better, but the Eagles got a 39 from Braedon Talbot to make the difference.

 

McCann Tech (2-1) goes to Turners Falls High on Tuesday.
