Mount Greylock Girls Tennis Earns Road Sweep

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock girls tennis team Tuesday did not drop a set in taking a 5-0 win from Mount Everett.
 
No. 1 Mia Van Deurzen defeated Nadia Makuc, 6-4, 6-3. Hannah Gilooly defeated Madison Tinker, 6-2, 6-2 at second singles.
 
At No. 3, Charlotte Sanford won a close first set and went on to a 7-5, 6-2 win over Caroline Haiss.
 
In doubles, the Mount Greylock tandem of Izzy Leonard and Olivia Winters beat Rochelle Worth and Maile Handy, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 1.
 
Mount Greylock's second doubles team of Charlotte Holubar and Mai O'Connor topped Emma Nardi and Kaliegh Eichstedt, 6-0, 6-3.
