Mount Everett Boys Tennis, Mount Greylock Girls Earn Wins

SHEFFIELD, Mass. — Finn Vion won two tie-breaks to earn a win at third singles and help the Mount Everett boys tennis team take a 4-1 win over Mount Greylock on Wednesday.
 
Vion outlasted Mount Greylock's Reed Olney for a 7-6 (6-4), 7-6 (9-7) win.
 
The Mounties' day was highlighted by Oscar Heeringa earning his first varsity win in three sets at second singles.
 
The Mount Greylock girls took a 5-0 win over the Eagles behind a straight-set win by Mai O'Connor at first singles.
