Taconic Golfers Down Hoosac Valley

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Charley Driscoll Tuesday carded a 39 to earn medalist honors and lead the Taconic golf team to a 164-172 win over Hoosac Valley at Berkshire Hills.

 

Jason Codey and Simon Mele backed him up with rounds of 40, and Will Barber rounded out the Thunder’s scoring with a 45.

 

“Great weather today led to some good golf at Berkshire Hills from both teams,” Taconic coach Matt Capeless said. “Nice to get our first win on the season today.”

 

Brayden Clark led Hoosac Valley with a 41. Zach Mongeon birdied the par-5 fourth hole on his way to a 43 for the Hurricanes, who host Mount Everett on Friday.

 

Taconic (1-2) goes to Forest Park to play Hoosac Valley (0-2) on Monday.
