Maffuccio Leads Taconic Golfers in Narrow Win over Lenox

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Gavin Maffuccio Friday carded a 39 to earn medalist honors and lead the Taconic golf team to a 168-171 win over Lenox at Berkshire HIlls.

 

Maffuccio birdied the par-3 fifth hole on his way to a 4-over-par round as Taconic earned a split in the season series against the Millionaires.

 

Brodi McCormack backed him up with a 42, and Jason Fields, Charley Driscoll and Simon Mele each factored into the scoring for the Thunder with a 43.

 

Edmond Pritchard led Lenox with a 42.

 

The Millionaires (6-2) host Lee on Monday.

 

Taconic (8-2) hosts Monument Mountain on Thursday.
