Taconic Golfers Edge Mount Greylock at Home

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- A team effort Thursday lifted the Taconic golf team to a 167-168 win over Mount Greylock at Berkshire Hills Country Club.
 
Ben Gilooly earned medalist honors with a 1-over-par 36 that included a birdie on the 554-yard, par-5 fourth hole.
 
But Michael Kays carded a 39, and three of his teammates finished at 45 or better to earn the win. Brent Arseneau came in at 41, and Connor Champoux and Derek Wurtemberger carded rounds of 42 and 45, respectively.
 
Mount Greylock got a 42 from Brayden Smith and 45s from Tenley Smith and Connor Daley.
 
The Mounties travel to face Pittsfield High on Friday while Taconic hosts Monument Mountain.
