Sniezek Medals as Hoosac Valley Golf Edges Lenox

ADAMS, Mass. -- Henry Sniezek carded a 3-over-par round of 37 Wednesday to lead the Hoosac Valley golf team to a 164-166 win over Lenox at Forest Park Country Club.
 
"A very close match," Hoosac Valley coach Jay Sniezek said. "Hats off to the young and talented Lenox boys. They are impressive.
 
"The match came down to our fifth man, who came in with a 48 for the win."
 
That match-clinching score was supplied by Justyn Cowell.
 
Hoosac Valley also used scores from Corben Craig (39) and Luc Trombley (40).
 
Craig and Sniezek each had a birdie. Craig finished with a three on the 265-yard, par-4 ninth hole. Sniezek birdied the 302-yard, par-4 fourth.
 
Max DiGrigoli and Max Shepardson led Lenox with 41s. Brendan Hayden and Cliff Flynn were right behind them with 42s for the Millionaires.
 
Not figuring into the team score but finishing in the 40s with a birdie apiece were Lenox's Ben Haddad (45) and Devon Patel (49).
 
Lenox hosts Monument Mountain on Thursday. Hoosac Valley hosts Mount Greylock on Friday.
