Hoosac Valley Girls, Pittsfield Boys Earn Wins

CHESHIRE, Mass. – The Hoosac Valley girls track team Wednesday took 23 out of a possible 27 points in the throws to anchor the team to a 75.25-65.75 win over Pittsfield.

 

Gabby Billetz won the shot put, Hanna Shea won the discus and Abby Scialabba took the javelin.

 

The Hurricanes also dominated the hurdles, where Talia Rehill led a 1-2-3 sweep for Hoosac Valley in the 100, and Reagan Cornell and Lily Speed were first and second, respectively, in the 400.

 

Pittsfield’s girls got a pair of wins from Ellen Muller, who took first in the high jump and the triple jump.

 

Pittsfield’s boys cruised to a 119-17 win over Hoosac Valley in their dual.

 

Dakarre Dorsett swept the 100 meters and the 200. Owen Klatka won the high jump and triple jump. And Lennox Silvestro-Dias took the mile and 3200.
