Taconic Golfers Top Hoosac Valley

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Ethan Bishop Tuesday carded a 3-over-par round of 38 to earn medalist honors and lead the Taconic High golf team to a 167-176 win over Hoosac Valley at Berkshire Hills Country Club.

 

Bishop edged Zach Mongeon, who finished at 39 in a round that included a birdie on the par-3 third hole.

 

For Taconic, Charlie Driscoll picked up two birdies on his way to a round of 42, beating par on a pair of par-4s, the first and eighth holes.

 

Criscoll (42), Gavin Maffuccio (43) and Bodi McCormack (44) rounded out the scoring for the Thunder.

 

Hoosac Valley scored rounds from Chase George (42), Brayden Clark (46) and Luke Dix (49).

 

The Hurricanes (1-2) are back in Pittsfield on Wednesday to face Pittsfield High.

 

Taconic (1-2) is home on Wednesday in a non-league match against Ludlow High.
