Hoosac Valley Golfers Clinch Tournament Berth

ADAMS, Mass. -- The Hoosac Valley golf team Thursday qualified for the Western Massachusetts tournament with a 172-183 win over Wahconah at Forest Park Country Club.

 

Henry Sniezek carded a 7-over-par 41 to earn medalist honors and lead the way for the Hurricanes, who got a pair of 43s from Jack Sniezek and Luc Brombley and a 45 from Derek Alibozek.

 

Jack Sniezek’s round included birdies on the par-3 fifth hole and the par-4 ninth.

 

Mike Kays led Taconic with a 42.
