Grimes Leads Hoosac Valley Golfers Past Lenox

ADAMS, Mass. -- Hayden Grimes carded a 5-over-par round of 39 Monday to earn medalist honors and lead the Hoosac Valley golf team to a 167-179 win over Lenox at Forest Park Country Club.
 
Grimes’ teammates, Henry Sniezek (41), Luc Trombley (41) and Derek Alibozek (46) combined for five birdies on the day. Sniezek and Alibozek each birdied a pair of holes.
 
Sniezek beat par on the 270-yard, par-4 first hole and 314-yard, par-4 seventh. Alibozek birdied back-to-back on the 333-yard, par-4 sixth and the seventh. Trombley finished with a birdie on the 277-yard, par-4 fourth hole.
 
Noah Hunter led Lenox with a 43. The Millionaires also scored rounds from Brendan Hayden (44), Max Digrigoli (45) and Ben Haddad (47).
 
Hoosac Valley hosts Mount Anthony on Tuesday while Lenox hosts Monument Mountain.
