McLaughlin Leads Wahconah Golfers to Tourney-Clinching Victory

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Pat McLaughlin carded a 42 Tuesday to tie for medalist honors and lead the Wahconah golf team to a 177-185 win over Mount Everett at Egremont Country Club.
 
Cooper Rothvoss tied McLaughlin for the low round of the day to lead the Eagles.
 
Wahconah got balanced scoring with all players within eight strokes of one another.
 
Emily Figiela (44), Kristina Cusson (45) and Caden Frazier (46) each scored for Wahconah. Its non-scorers each posted rounds of 49; Mike Cullett and Dan Wilson each notched a birdie along the way.
 
With the win, Wahconah qualified for the Western Mass Division 2 tournament. 
 
Mount Everett scored rounds from Jack Seward-Daley (47) and Colby Stevens and Tucker Wilkinson, who each finished at 48.
 
Wahconah hosts Pittsfield on Wednesday.
 
Mount Everett goes to Monument Mountain on Thursday.
