DALTON, Mass. -- The Wahconah volleyball team Monday earned a five-set win over Lenox to celebrate a successful Senior Night, wrap up the No. 2 seed in the county playoffs and give coach Dave Lussier his 100th career victory.

Kaylee O'Bryan registered nine kills and a pair of aces while passing out 27 assists to direct Wahconah's offense as it pulled out a 21-25, 25-23, 19-25, 25-10, 15-5 win.

Kassidy Krejmas had 19 kills to go with six digs and three aces, and Sasha Fyfe had 17 digs and four aces.

"After a back in forth first two sets that Wahconah and Lenox split, Lenox controlled the third set winning 19-25," Lussier said. "Wahconah settled down and rode some good serving from Fyfe and O’Bryan to take the fourth set, forcing set five.

"Consistent strong serves were the answer in set five from O’Bryan and Bre Robert to seal the match with a 15-5 set."

Mia Giardina had 11 kills for Lenox, which got five aces from Danielle Miller and 30 digs from Carolina Chassi.

Wahconah (10-2) hosts Monument Mountain on Tuesday.
