DALTON, Mass. -- Brady Breitmaier and Pat McLaughlin each finished at 5-over-par 40 on the front nine at Dalton Country Club to lead the Wahconah golf team to a 173-185 win over Mount Greylock on Friday.

Breitmaier’s round included a birdie on the sixth hole.

Wahconah also scored rounds from Tim Kaley (44) and Sam McLaughlin (49).

Mount Greylock was led by Cameron Turner and Alexander Axt, who each finished at 45. Ben Dingman (47) and Owen Petropulos (48) rounded out the scoring for the Mounties.

“I think this was a big match for both teams,” Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said of the Berkshire County North Division rivals. “Anxiety was a bit higher and the teams seemed tight, which resulted in higher scores. It's good for the kids to experience some pressure with the Stockbridge classic and Western Mass right around the corner."

Mount Greylock hosts Hoosac Valley on Monday. Wahconah (10-1))is at Monument Mountain on Monday.
