Wahconah, Lee Earn Wins

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Aaron Armstrong rolled a 218 game and a 396 series Wednesday to lead the Lee bowling team to a 3-0 win over Taconic at Cove Lanes.
 
Jasmine Kearin rolled a 214 game, and Emily Holian rolled a 212 for the Wildcats.
 
Andrew Robitaille led Taconic with games of 259 and 194 for a 453 series, both highs in the league on the day.
 
In Friday’s other match, Wahconah earned a 3-0 win over Mount Everett.
 
Cody Doyle led the way with a 210 game and a 388 series for Wahconah.
 
The Eagles got a 149 game and 287 series from Will Worth.
 
Despite Wednesday's loss, Taconic finished the double round-robin regular season in first place in the league standings, having won 18 of 24 points in its eight matches this winter.
 
The league will be back in action on Friday as it plays the positional matches to set the stage for next week’s county championship.
