McLaughlin Solid, Anello Eagles as Wahconah Goes to 6-0

DALTON, Mass. — Pat McLaughlin carded an even par round of 36 on the back nine at Wahconah Country Club Wednesday to lead the Wahconah golf team to a 168-235 win over Lee.
 
McLaughlin's round was highlighted by a birdie on No. 16.
 
"Once again, Pat McLaughlin showed a pro caliber game tonight with an even par 36 on the tough back nine," Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. "Pat is playing awesome golf right now and it's fun to watch.
 
"The shot of the day came from Easton Anello, whose second shot on the par 5 18th hole landed just 2 feet from the cup for an easy eagle conversion."
 
Anello's eagle helped him to a score of 44. Wahconah also scored rounds from Tim Kaley (42) and Brady Breitmaier (46).
 
Lee was led by Joey Abderhalden with a 48. The Wildcats also used scores from David Carlino (59), Jack Boden (64) and Jacob Cooper (64).
 
Wahconah stayed perfect on the season at 6-0. It goes to Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
