DALTON, Mass. – The Wahconah golf team Monday collected four birdies and three scores in the 30s to earn a 149-189 win over Monument Mountain at Wahconah Country Club.

Pat McLaughlin led the way with a 1-under-par round of 34 that included a birdie on the par-4 fifth hole and no bogeys.

Brady Breitmaier also birdied No. 5. Tim Kaley and Sam McLaughlin birdied the par-4 ninth and par-5 seventh, respectively.

"We are really starting to play well," Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. "This is our third time breaking 150.

"Brady Breitmaier played really solid but had an unfortunate triple bogey on the last hole, or he would have been right up there with our top guys. I'm really proud of the way this team is starting to come together."

Greg Kay led the Spartans with a 43.
