Wahconah Golfers Beat Lenox

DALTON, Mass. – Lenox’s Max Shepardson earned medalist honors, but the Wahconah golf team got the win on Wednesday at Wahconah Country Club.
 
Shepardson carded a 1-over-par 36 that included birdies on the par-4 first and par-4 ninth holes.
 
Wahconah got a pair of sub-40 rounds from Tim Kaley (37) and Patrick McLaughlin (39). Kaley birdied the par-4 fourth hole, and McLaughlin birdied the par-4 fifth.
 
Their teammate, Brady Breitmaier, birdied both those holes en route to a 42.
 
Wahconah improved to 10-1 on the season and will look for its 11th win on Friday when it hosts Taconic.
 
Lenox goes to Lee on Friday.
