Wahconah Golfers 11th at State Championships

BROCKTON, Mass. -- The Wahconah golf team Tuesday placed 11th at the Division 2 State Championships at Thorny Lea Golf Club.

 

Patrick McLaughlin carded a 10-over-par round of 80 to lead the Western Massachusetts D2 Champions. He tied for 19th in a 91-player field.

 

Brady Breitmaier, Tim Kaley, Sam McLaughlin, Vincent Scalise and Carter Drake also scored for Wahconah.

 

The team championship went to Dover-Sherborn, which had a combined score of plus-34 against par.

 

Dover-Sherborn's Charlie Potter also won individual medalist honors, carding a 1-over 71.
