Anello Leads Wahconah Past Lee

DALTON, Mass. -- Kesler Anello carded an even-par round of 35 on the front nine at Wahconah Country Club Friday to lead the Wahconah golf team to a 181-160 win over Lee.

 

"Kes played outstanding today," Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. "He got off to a strong start with a birdie on No. 1 and was rock solid the rest of the way."

 

Sam McLaughlin backed up Anello with a birdie on No. 7 en route to a 37. Logan Aitken finished at 40 after a birdie on No. 3.

 

David Carlino led Lee with a 41 that included a birdie on No. 7. Joey Abderhalden was right behind him with a 42.

 

Nick McDonough's say included a birdie on No. 4 for the Wildcats.

 

Lee (2-1) goes to Taconic on Tuesday.

 

Wahconah (3-0) goes to Lenox on Wednesday.
