DALTON, Mass. -- Nate Dos Santos carded an even-par round of 35 on Wednesday to lead the Wahconah golf team to a 171-192 win over Mount Everett at Wahconah Country Club.

“Nathan handled Wahconah’s front nine with ease, scoring birdies on No. 3 and No. 8,” Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. “Bogeys on No. 5 and No. 6 prevented and under par round. Nate played great today and was backed by Isaac Anello’s 43 and Cullen Harington’s 46. Another nice team win keeps our western mass hopes alive.”

Daniel Wilson and Caden Frazier each carded a 47 to round out the scoring for Wahconah (4-4).

Mount Everett was led by Luke Bleau’s 45. Cooper Rothvoss and Jack Seward finished at 47 and 48, respectively, and Kolby Bleau carded a 55.

“Despite scoring 192 I feel Mount Everett has turned over a new leaf and has a very positive energy,” Terpak said. “They are a nice upcoming young team, and the new coaching staff is headed in the right direction.”

Wahconah goes to Hoosac Valley on Thursday while Mount Everett hosts Lenox.
