Mount Greylock Volleyball Gets Contributions Across Lineup in Three-Set Win

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Ten different Mounties had at least a kill Wednesday as the Mount Greylock volleyball team earned a three-set win over Bennington, Vt.’s, Mount Anthony Union.
 
Caroline Hadley led the attack with four kills, and twins Hannah and Holli Byrnes each had two kills and two digs.
 
Mount Greylock coach Greg Geyer was able to get valuable experience for his younger players in a 25-15, 25-4, 25-16 win as Emma Sandstrom earned her first varsity kill and Julia Jammalo notched her first varsity assists.
 
Maddie Albert had six assists to go with 12 aces, and Marley Buffis had eight aces and eight digs.
 
Mount Greylock was credited with just one attack error and collected 20 kills in 47 offensive tries.
 
The Mounties Friday host Lenox.
