WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Caroline Hadley had six kills, six digs and eight aces Friday night to lead the Mount Greylock volleyball team to a three-set win over Pittsfield on Senior Night.

Marley Buffis had 12 digs and five aces for the Mounties, who won, 25-21, 25-22, 26-24.

“As the scores indicate every set in this match was very close and had several lead changes,” Mount Greylock coach Greg Geyer said.

Senior Maddie Albert had eight assists to go with eight digs.

“On Senior Night, we ran an all senior lineup in Set 1 and most of Set 2 and used a hybrid of our normal lineup, involving most seniors, in Set 3,” Geyer said. “The eight seniors in Greylock came through in the clutch and I am very proud of them on this emotional night.”

Brenna Bricke had 15 assists for the Generals, who got four kills and three digs from Shakia Green. Florence Afanikor had four aces, four digs and three kills.

Pittsfield hosts Minnechaug on Monday.

Mount Greylock has a rematch with Lee in South County on Monday.
