Mount Greylock Girls Tennis Edges Monument Mountain

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Hannah Gilooly fought back in the second set for a win that clinched the Mount Greylock girls tennis team's 3-2 win over Monument Mountain on Wednesday.
 
Gilooly was down 5-2 in the second set to come back and beat Isa DeFelice in a tie-breaker, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5), at No. 2 singles.
 
Mount Greylock (1-1) got a win at No. 3 singles from Charlotte Sanford, who beat Eva McDougall, 6-4, 6-1.
 
At first doubles, Mount Greylock's Izzy Leonard and Olivia Winters beat Marti Cunningham and Emily Goudey, 6-2, 6-1.
 
Monument Mountain's Mikayla Wax defeated Mia VanDeurzen, 6-2, 7-5, at No. 1 singles.
 
At second doubles, the Spartans' Dianna Colpitts and Samantha Goudey teamed up to beat Mai O'Connor and Charlotte Holubar, 6-4, 6-3.
 
Mount Greylock goes to Pittsfield on Friday. Monument Mountain hosts Pittsfield on Monday.
