Gilooly Leads Mount Greylock Girls Past Monument Mountain

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Hannah Gilooly earned a three-set win at second singles as the Mount Greylock girls tennis team took a 3-2 win from Monument Mountain on Tuesday.
 
Gilooly came from behind to beat Eve McDougall, 1-6, 6-2, 6-0.
 
The Mounties also got a point at third singles, where Charlotte Sanford beat Isa Defelice, 6-1, 6-1.
 
At second doubles, Mount Greylock’s Mai O’Connor and Piper Schulman beat Dahn Yook and Prem Mahida, 6-3, 6-0.
 
The Spartans got a point at first singles, where Mikayla Wax outlasted Mia VanDeurzen, 6-2, 5-7, 6-4. At No. 1 doubles, Samantha Gowdey and Marti Cunningham earned a three-set win against Izzy Leonard and Olivia Winters, 6-7 (8-6), 7-5, 10-0.
