Mount Greylock Girls Top Lee

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Mount Greylock girls tennis team Monday swept singles play en route to a 4-1 win over Lee.
 
Mai O’Connor and Mia Patrick won in straight sets at first and second singles. Charlotte Holubar went to a tie break in the second set before prevailing, 6-4, 7-6 (7-1).
 
In doubles, the Mounties’ No. 2 pairing of Effie Skinner and Beatrice Pedroni won a super tie breaker to edge Lee’s Emma Puntin and Shae Kelly, 6-3, 1-6, 10-7.
 
The Wildcats earned a point at No. 1 doubles, where Amy Desiata and Sophie Herman won in straight sets.

No. 2 Mia Patrick, MG, def. Rachel Wendling, 6-4, 3-0 (retired).
