Mount Greylock Girls, Boys Dominate in Five-Team Meet

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Mount Greylock’s Katherine Goss won four events in a five-team meet at Monument Mountain on Tuesday.

Goss swept the hurdles and won the long jump and triple jump to lead the Mounties to dual meet wins over Lenox and Taconic.

Hoosac Valley and Mount Everett also participated in the meet.

The Hurricanes’ girls won the mile relay to help their squad pick up wins over Mount Everett and Taconic.

In the boys meet, Mount Greylock also won twice behind triple winner William Apotsos, who took both hurdles distances and won the triple jump.

Taconic’s Elijah Harewood won the 100 and the 200 to lead the Thunder’s boys team to three wins.
