PITTSFIELD Mass. – Jacob Hillman finished at 1-over 36 on the front nine at the Country Club of Pittsfield on Thursday to lead the Mount Greylock golf team to a 160-185 win over Pittsfield.

Hillman birdied the par-4 second and par-3 fourth hole in the win.

Tanner Haig-Taylor finished with a 39 to back up Hillman.

Pittsfield was led by senior Jason Fields with a 41 as the Generals celebrated their Senior Day.

“The match finished in the pitch black darkness with two groups playing the ninth hole together,” Pittsfield coach Adam Brickle said. “The five Pittsfield seniors were surrounded by friends and family; and despite the darkness, the cold and the loss, everyone still had a smile on their face.

“It was a pleasure to coach these boys.”

Pittsfield goes to Lee on Tuesday.

Mount Greylock, which wrapped up sole possession of the Berkshire County League title with the win, hosts Lee on Friday.
