Monument Mountain Boys Win at New Lebanon
NEW LEBANON, N.Y. – Vincent Dragonetti, David Iusco and Tomas Ceola each won two events on Wednesday to lead the Monument Mountain boys swim team to a 60-33 win over New Lebanon.
Dragonetti took first in the 100-yard butterfly and 100 backstroke. Iursco won the 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle. Ceola won the 50 free and 100 breaststroke.
The Spartans took first in all three relays against New Lebanon’s co-ed roster on senior day for the Tigers.
Senior Allison Slater posted her best times of the winter in the 100 breaststroke, where she finished second, and the 100 freestyle.
Other New Lebanon swimmers to drop their season bests on Wednesday included Jordan Sotek and Grace Kalisz in the 100 butterfly, Cadence Ward in the 500 free and Lance Schroeder in the 50, 100 and 200 free.
