Mooney, Bradford Lead Pittsfield Boys, Girls to Swimming Wins

NEW LEBANON, N.Y. -- Connor Mooney won a pair of races Thursday to help lead the Pittsfield boys swim team to a 76-13 win over New Lebanon.
 
On the girls side, Jordan Bradford was a double winner as the Generals prevailed, 50-33.
 
Mooney took the 50-yard freestyle in 25.72 seconds and won the 100 free in 57.37.
 
Pittsfield’s boys also got wins from Liam Mooney in the 200 free (2:08.71), Danny Fitzgibbons in the 500 free (6:01.89) and Hayden Plouffe in the 100 breaststroke (1:24.45).
 
Bradford took the 200 freestyle in 2:12.49 and the 500 free in 5:50.25.
 
Pittsfield’s other winners included Yael Snowise in the 100 free (1:05.80), Olivia Douhan in the 100 back (1:16.42) and Szofia Lewis in the 100 breaststroke (1:15.89).
 
Gigi French and Alex Sotek picked up wins for New Lebanon, in the 100 butterfly (1:17.13) and 200 individual medley (2:32.69), respectively.
