Pittsfield Boys Tennis Sweeps Lenox

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Max Beckwith earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles to headline a 5-0 win for the Pittsfield boys tennis team against Lenox on Monday at Herberg Middle School.
 
Brian Lavinio and Adam Quinto picked up straight-set wins at first and second singles, respectively.
 
The Generals also won a pair of matches without dropping a set in doubles, getting victories from the tandems of Liam Fitzgibbons/Tom Rindfuss at No. 1 and Noah Beckwith/Sabil Kaddoura at No. 2.
 
Lenox’s Brad Woodger and Andrew Conlon pushed their opponents at second doubles but fell, 7-5, 6-0.
 
Pittsfield goes to Mount Everett on Wednesday while Lenox hosts Lee.
