Pittsfield Boys, Mount Greylock Girls Win

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Pittsfield High sprinter Emmanual Nda won two events and ran on a winning relay to help the Generals earn a 76-65 win over Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
 
PHS remained undefeated this spring and handed the Mounties (7-1) their only loss in Berkshire County.
 
Nda won the 100 meters in 11.1 seconds and the 200 in 23.5, outleaning Mount Greylock's Quinn Johnstadt (24.0).
 
Nda also ran a leg on Pittsfield's 4-by-100 relay quartet, which went 44.1.
 
In the girls dual meet, Mount Greylock moved to 8-0 in county duals with an 87-54 win over Pittsfield.
 
Maddie Albert was a double-winner for Mount Greylock.
 
She took first in the 400 hurdles (70.2) and the shot put (26 feet, 10 inches). Alberts also picked up points by finishing second in the 200 (28.0) and third in the 100 (13.5).
