Pittsfield Boys Tennis Tops Mount Everett

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Brian Lavinio posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at second singles on Wednesday as the Pittsfield boys tennis team swept Mount Everett, 5-0, at Herberg Middle School.
 
“Mount Everett put up a good fight … playing close sets in third singles and second doubles,” Pittsfield coach Daniel Sullivan said.
 
Adam Quinto (6-1, 6-4) and Cole Masiero (7-5, 6-3) posted wins at first and third singles, respectively.
 
The Generals also got wins from the double tandems of Liam Fitzgibbons and Tom Rindfuss (6-3, 6-2) at No. 1 and Andrew King and Bryan Brophy (6-0, 7-5) at No. 2.
