Singles Sweep Helps Pittsfield Boys Top Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. — The Pittsfield boys tennis team Monday swept singles play en route to a 4-1 win over Mount Everett at the Berkshire School.
 
Adam Quinto at No. 1, Brian Lavinio at No. 2 and Liam Fitzgibbons at No. 3 each won in straight sets.
 
The Generals also picked up a 6-2, 6-4 win at first doubles from Cole Masiero and Andrew King.
 
Mount Everett's doubles pair of Jake Martin and Ethan Benoit won, 6-2, 4-6, 6-1.
