Pittsfield Boys Tennis Edges Lenox

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Adam Quinto and the doubles tandem of Dave Charland and Noah Beckwith won three-set matches Wednesday to lead the Pittsfield boys tennis team to a 3-2 win over Lenox.
 
At third singles, Quinto outlasted the Millionaires’ Ari Yantovsky for a 6-7 (4), 7-6, (9), 6-1 win.
 
At first doubles, Charland and Beckwith beat Ryan Silverstein and Herkus Rudzinskas, 7-6 (2), 5-7, 6-2.
 
Pittsfield got its other point from Evan Dempsey at No. 1 singles. He won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.
 
Lenox earned points from Alec Jordan at second singles and the team of Evan Silverstein and Nick Monteleon at No. 2 doubles.
 
Jordan beat Brian Lavinio, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.
