Lenox Girls Tennis Edges Mount Everett

LENOX, Mass. -- The Lenox girls tennis team Thursday beat Mount Everett, 3-2.
 
Carolina Chassi and Rihana Patel each took straight-set wins in singles play.
 
At No. 1, Chassi topped Nadia Makuc, 6-2, 6-2. At second singles, Patel beat Madison Tinker, 6-1, 6-1.
 
Mount Everett’s Caroline Haiss earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over Georgia Raser at No. 3 singles.
 
The Millionaires got a 6-1, 6-4 win from Ella Smith and Nicole Illingworth at No. 2 doubles, where they faced Emma Nardi and Kaleigh Eichstedt.
 
At first doubles, Mount Everett’s Rachele Worth and Maile Handy outlasted Carolyn Cass and Amy Alderton in a tie-breaker, 2-6, 7-5, 10-5.
