County Athletes Compete in New York Meet

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. -- Lenox's Mary Elliot and Pittsfield's Kieran Coscia posted second-place finishes Saturday to lead their teams in a multi-state meet at Mohonasen High School.

 

Student-athletes from multpile Berkshire County schools joined teams from Vermont and throughout New York's Capital District at the early season meet.

 

Elliot placed second in the 400 to help the Millionaires finish 14th out of 24 girls teams competing.

 

Coscia was second in the shot with a throw of 54 feet, 2 inches, and third in the discus with a mark of 152-3 as the Generals placed 13th out of 29 boys teams.
