Lenox Girls Tennis Reaches Sweet 16

LENOX, Mass. – Rory Lenehan and Charlie Keator picked up singles wins Sunday to lead the Lenox girls tennis team to a 4-1 win over Sutton in the opening round of the Division 4 State Tournament.
 
Lenehan dropped just two games in a straight-set win at second singles. Keator also was a straight-set winner at No. 3.
 
The 10th-seeded Millionaires move on to face the winner of Monday’s match between No. 26 Abington and No. 7 Cohasset in the Sweet 16.

No. 3 Charlie Keator (L) def. Kat Quill, 6-4, 6-1.

No. 1 Georgia Raser/Rihanna Patel (L) def. Kayla Chesanek/Emily Andrade, 6-0, 6-1.
No. 2 Nikki Illingworth/Akshara Muthuvarupu (L) def. Emily Pietros/Laura Sullivan, 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-3).
