LENOX, Mass. – Lenox freshman Charlie Keator recorded seven kills in one game Wednesday as the Millionaires swept Bristol Aggie to advance to the Division 5 State Tournament’s Round of 32.

Kelsey Kirchner also had seven kills and a pair of blocks in the 29-27, 25-17, 25-23 win.

It was a total team effort for the Millionaires (9-12).

“My objective tonight was to win in three and to play all of our athletes with few substitutions,” Lenox coach Steve Laurin said. “In Game 1, I had serious doubts that would happen. I’m glad they pulled it off. Now, all 13 of them can say that they helped our team move forward in the state tournament.”

Anna Nealon pulled up 16 digs, and Emily Barenski had 13 digs to go with four aces and a pair of kills.

Abby Winger had four aces and two kills. Kelly Nicotra passed out 14 assists while recording four kills of her own.

No. 28 Lenox moves on to face fifth-seeded Paulo Freire on Friday evening.
